The Vittoriale

At about 45 km from our Hotel, there is the "Vittoriale degli Italiani", a monumental citadel created by Gabriele D'Annunzio between 1921 and 1938, when he moved to Gardone di Riviera. It is not just a house, but a complex made of buildings, streets, squares, theatres, gardens, parks and wonderful rivers.

You can visit the entire site, which also features different museums, such as "La Priora", the poet's house, the War Museum, Ship Puglia, the Mausoleum and much much more. The whole complex is also amazingly surrounded by green parks and gardens, having both, a great historical and environmental value.
